Resolved: Game stuttering occurred consistently until a system restart was performed.
Hello everyone!
I've encountered a peculiar problem that’s been ongoing for approximately one month. My games are consistently lagging, even when navigating menus. I initially suspected a driver concern, however, this issue remains regardless of the Nvidia drivers utilized. When launching games immediately following Windows 10’s startup, they perform flawlessly; however, if I engage in activities such as browsing for around fifteen minutes and then begin gaming, the stuttering returns. Only a full system reboot resolves this. Simply logging out fails to address it. My hardware configuration includes a Ryzen 5 3600 processor, an MSI RTX 2070 Super graphics card, and a ROG Strix B450-F motherboard. I’ve tested this with multiple titles, indicating that it's not a game-specific malfunction. Furthermore, I’ve performed a complete reinstallation of Windows 10, yet the problem continues.
Thank you for any advice you can provide!
The issue was resolved recently. It appears I possessed a monitor compatible with FreeSync, yet I had mistakenly activated G-sync for displays not designed for it within the NVIDIA control panel settings. Disabling this feature resolved the stuttering immediately.
We appreciate your input, however, the storage space was significantly lower than 85%.
