Discard my earlier comment regarding the performance; the central processing unit’s utilization is approximately 10%, the graphics card sits at roughly 5%, and memory occupies about 24%. Individual cores experience minimal strain and operate at a low level.
Network connectivity experienced an outage lasting several hours...
This particular game is built to function effectively on older, less powerful computer systems; it relies exclusively on single-core processing. It’s not designed for high-end configurations such as a 9900K processor paired with a 2080Ti graphics card.
A reduction of 10% of a multi-threaded CPU represents 100% of one core, and 60% of another – though this isn’t always how it manifests.
Noticeably low GPU utilization: Running the game at 1080p with a 2080Ti doesn't provide significant benefits, and League of Legends doesn’t greatly utilize powerful GPUs.
The core game is written in C++.
Lua serves as the foundation for the game itself.
C# is used for development tools.
ActionScript handles the user interface and PvP.net functionalities.
Java powers the platform servers.
Erlang supports the platform servers.
Php/sql are utilized by the web team for platform management.
Riot developed a custom, proprietary game engine using C++, specifically engineered to operate on systems with limited processing power.
Is there an in-game setting to establish a minimum frame rate? Some games include this feature.
If not, implementing an FPS cap could be beneficial for observation purposes.
Okay.
Please disregard that.
Userbenchmark doesn’t accurately reflect your system’s performance; the application is of little value for that purpose.
As I previously mentioned, it’s primarily helpful for diagnostics… your findings indicate no significant hardware issues are present, so if there’s a problem, it likely stems from the drivers or in-game configurations.
Given that you indicated the game’s requirements are tailored for systems utilizing only one processor core, rather than multiple ones such as mine, is there a method to prevent the CPU from using all or some of its cores to better suit League's needs? Could this also be applied to the graphics card?
Individuals equipped with an i9 processor and RTX 2080 Ti have consistently recorded frame rates exceeding 300 in League of Legends, and I'm hoping my brother can accomplish the same. Despite capping the FPS at 240, he hasn’t reached that level. Given that League appears to operate more effectively with less demanding hardware, as you indicated, would allocating my processor to run on one or two cores improve the game's performance?
It’s already occurring without your intervention.
Can those individuals explain their process to you? I am unfamiliar with the technique.
The equipment is functioning correctly; therefore, adjustments must be made within the game itself, the Nvidia Control Panel, or Windows…
This could potentially resolve the issue, or it may have no effect whatsoever:
Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings tab.
Locate the League of Legends executable from the program list to modify – if it’s not present on that list, you must click the Add button and add it manually.
Click Apply and close the window.
