I consistently disconnect from servers I join, typically every few seconds, encountering diverse error messages like "Badly Compressed Packet," "Incorrect Header Check," and "Varint too big." This problem occurs regardless of my in-game actions and isn’t connected to any particular activity. I’ve taken steps to optimize my computer by removing potentially conflicting software and reinstalling the game itself. Previously, in 2018 (around November when playing Minecraft 1.13.XX), I experienced no such issues and played continuously. Since then, my only additions have been new Steam titles. My internet connection provides speeds of approximately 20 Mbps upload and 20 Mbps download, while my system specifications include a GeForce 1080 Ti, 128 GB of RAM, and an Intel Core i7-6850k processor. I’ve extensively researched potential solutions online and sought assistance on various forums, but haven't discovered any effective remedies. This persistent issue is becoming increasingly frustrating; does anyone have suggestions?

Are you using an original version of the program, or a Steam installation?

Ensure your computer’s clock is synchronized with an external time source. Consider updating your network adapter driver, or alternatively, attempt a fresh installation of Minecraft in an alternative location on your system.
