Could I use a separate PC to stream so it's not taking up all of my cores on my new build?

Because Intel hasn't been aggressively challenging AMD recently, I would strongly suggest choosing AMD. They’ve significantly strengthened their offerings with recent processor and motherboard releases, and are projected to further revolutionize the market soon with the unveiling of their advanced "navis" graphics cards. The motherboard you selected is adequate, although some might disagree. If you’re prepared to invest a little more money, I advise using the motherboard linked below—I personally own and use it. I generally refrain from suggesting products without having experienced them firsthand.

I was considering my options carefully because switching to Intel would necessitate replacing both my motherboard and processor, however, with AMD’s AM4 sockets, they frequently alter their connection types, which appears to be a wasteful investment. Purchasing a 6700k with an accompanying motherboard featuring LGA1151 compatibility feels like acquiring a nearly complete computer system, yet attempting to select a 9700k or 9900k results in incompatibility issues. My intended system includes an MSI Z170A Gaming M5 motherboard, representing a substantial improvement over my existing outdated components – an older processor and motherboard paired with only 2GB of graphics memory. I am particularly drawn to the ASUS OC version of the RX 5700 XT.

I’ve studied and examined every Intel processor, but is the Radeon RX 9 3900X the most recent? I’m familiar with Threadripper CPUs, such as the 3950X.

I’m unfamiliar with thread rippers, as they tend to be quite expensive. You likely wouldn't require one if your primary goal is simply enjoying a game. Current top-tier AMD processors suitable for streaming and gaming include the Ryzen 5 3600X, Ryzen 7 3700X, Ryzen 7 3800X, and Ryzen 9 3900x models. The 3700X represents the most economical choice, a fact I can attest to personally. Beyond that, select a processor that aligns with your budget – if you desire the 3900X, feel free to pursue it.

Alright, so it seems like the 3900X is significantly superior to the competition? I’m comfortable with the cost of the 3900X, and because I aim to keep my motherboard expenses under $200, that’s why I selected the particular one I did.

The video suggests that the 3900X is unlikely to yield a substantial performance improvement, perhaps only around 5% on average. Interestingly, the 3700X often demonstrates superior results in specific game scenarios, a fact I consider perplexing. Personally, I believe the 3700X represents a reasonable choice, but ultimately the decision rests with you and your budget.

Indeed, I concur with that assessment and appreciate your responses. I’ve finalized my purchase decision. However, I do have another inquiry – I’m unsure if you would be familiar with this, but my motherboard indicates it has “edge wifi.” Could you clarify what that signifies? I assume it’s a positive feature.

I recently checked the specifications and initially thought it was only equipped with Wi-Fi. However, I discovered that it also includes an Ethernet port for a wired connection, which is puzzling. It could be contributing to the lower price of this motherboard compared to my own. Perhaps another user can clarify this for you.

The term "WIFI" is not included in the title of that motherboard; it's designated as the X570 GAMING EDGE, (featuring WIFI), yet “edge wifi” is not a recognized concept. Furthermore, several aspects of the overall construction seem somewhat unconventional, though you indicated in your original post that you have no intention of making alterations.
