I’m experiencing a recurring problem with my PC: it unexpectedly shuts down to the desktop while playing games. This issue has been present since I purchased the prebuilt machine two years ago, and it occurs across various titles, though it's most frequent during demanding games such as *Batman Arkham Knight*, *The Witcher 3*, and *Fortnite*. While other games occasionally crash, the more intensive ones are consistently problematic. I’ve taken the PC to a service center, where it underwent stress testing without revealing any hardware faults; they suggested it was likely a software issue and returned it to me. However, I strongly believe this isn't solely a software problem, as I’ve exhausted numerous troubleshooting steps with no success.

I’ve attempted the following software solutions: updating drivers, reinstalling Windows 10, applying latest Windows updates, updating the BIOS, scanning for malware, and replacing the power supply unit (PSU). Recently, I sent the PC to a different technician who identified elevated CPU temperatures and installed an aftermarket cooler. While the CPU now feels noticeably cooler to the touch, the crashing persists. Due to limited direct communication with this technician, I’m uncertain about the specifics of their work, but they indicated that the configuration might be fundamentally flawed and could be generating software error reports. Could such errors genuinely arise from a poorly designed system? I’m seeking assistance from someone knowledgeable in hardware—is my PC inherently defective? I've lost faith in resolving this. The computer functions perfectly with non-gaming applications, often sustaining extended gameplay sessions in demanding titles. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated; I’ve spent two years trying various solutions without a clear diagnosis.

PC specifications:
* ASUS H110M-CS/C/SI s. 1151 DDR4
* Intel i5-7600 3.5GHz/6MB/BOX/LGA1151
* J&A 8GB DDR4 2133MHz
* TOSHIBA 1TB DT01ACA100 3.5 32MB SATA 3
* Fortron FSP SP-400A PSU 120mm
* ASUS DUAL GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5

If this has been with you from the start, and reinstalling Windows didn't fix it, I'm convinced it's something hardware related.
Take the cpu out of the motherboard socket and check for any bent pins(might need a magnifying glass).
Might even be the motherboard itself. But no way to test without replacing it.
This would be an exception to what I just said though:
Use Display Driver Uninstaller to remove the old graphics drivers:
https://www.wagnardsoft.com/
(requires safe mode)
Then download and install the latest drivers for your gpu.

Here’s a rewritten version of the text, using different words while maintaining the original meaning:

To fully assess your computer's memory health, we recommend running several diagnostic tests. One option is Memtest86, which requires a separate USB drive. Alternatively, you could use AIDA64 (with its free trial) and focus solely on the memory test – avoid multiple runs to prevent overheating. Another tool is Prime95, available at mersenne.org. To optimize it for memory testing, disable AVX, download the 26.6 version, and within the options, select “Blend Mode” under “Torture Test.” Allow this test to run for a minimum of 30 minutes; Prime95 is often quick to identify issues.

No, sorry. You want to run the Memory stability test. That's the benchmark(they're not the same).
Only stress the system memory.

Run stress tests as previous users recommended,
1)If your pc crashes during one of the tests,please update
2)if not,try underclocking your GPU using MSI Afterburner
