Greetings, I'm running a GTX 1070 Ti with an i7-9700K processor and 16GB of RAM. My frame rate consistently hovers between 90 and 60 frames per second across all settings – is this typical for my hardware? If so, what adjustments can I make to achieve 140 frames per second or higher?

Utilizing dual-channel memory configurations can be beneficial. Nevertheless, incorporating an additional module may present certain problems. RAM should ideally be purchased as matched sets – either 2x8GB or 2x16GB. While identical models from the same manufacturer can reduce potential difficulties, compatibility isn’t always assured. Experimenting with different RAM modules is frequently successful, though it's not a dependable outcome.

If your frames per second remained constant despite reducing graphics settings, this frequently indicates a bottleneck caused by your central processing unit… however, you possess a 9700k processor.

What are your CPU temperatures when gaming?
Do you have two sticks of memory installed?
Are any other applications running in the background, consuming necessary processor resources?

My processor temperatures when gaming typically range between 65°C, with a minimum of 60°C and a maximum of 71°C. I only have one module of RAM installed. My central processing unit’s activity during gameplay fluctuates between 85% and 94%, while my graphics card usage remains at approximately 54%.

A single unit of memory will negatively impact speed, particularly when playing Borderlands Frontier Version.

Do you believe that adding more memory modules would improve my frame rate?

Utilizing dual-channel memory configuration can be beneficial. Nonetheless, incorporating an additional module may introduce potential problems. RAM should ideally be purchased in matched sets—such as 2x8GB or 2x16GB. Even when acquiring identical units from the same manufacturer and model, compatibility challenges may persist, though these are less likely. Experimenting with dissimilar RAM modules is sometimes possible, and it may succeed; however, this outcome isn't assured.

It would likely be more beneficial to purchase a 32GB kit rather than upgrading my existing one, correct? Thank you for your assistance.
