The computer powers on and all internal parts are active, yet displays a blank screen. The specifications include a ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 motherboard. I recently installed a new AMD FX-8320E Black Edition FX-Series 8-Core processor. Since this installation, I’ve consistently experienced the black screen issue. It functioned correctly with the previous processor, although that one frequently suffered from overheating. I have attempted to reset the BIOS and still encountered no resolution. Furthermore, there are no illuminated lights within the case.
As a long shot, have you upgraded the BIOS to version 2501? This specific BIOS update is necessary for compatibility with the FX-8320E.
