My friend is looking to upgrade from his aging Lenovo laptop and desires a desktop machine. He primarily enjoys playing Grand Theft Auto V, Euro Truck Simulator 2, and Farming Simulator 2019, with a strong preference for playing these games at maximum settings or near to it. He currently uses a 65-inch television for his gaming, but intends to purchase a separate monitor for his new computer.

We’ve identified a potential machine (detailed specifications below) and are hoping you can advise us on its suitability. As I'm not particularly knowledgeable about computers, I’m reaching out to you for guidance.

Here are the specifications of the computer we've considered:

Intel Core i5-9600KF (6 x 3.7 GHz / 4.6 GHz)
Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 with 6GB of VRAM
16 GB DDR4 at 2666 MHz speed
240 GB SSD
Windows 10 Pro

If you have any recommendations or can offer insights, we would greatly value your assistance.

Here’s a revised version of the text:

Motherboard: MSI B450M Mortar Max AM4 (featuring enhanced VRM technology)
SSD: A-Data XPG SX8200 Pro M.2 512GB (significantly quicker than traditional SATA SSDs)
Case: Fractal Design Meshify C Miditower (a highly regarded and affordable case under $100)
PSU: Seasonic FOCUS GX-550, 550W, 130mm, 80+ Gold certified (providing excellent performance at a competitive price, comparable to the RMx series).

This configuration should be adequate for playing titles like Grand Theft Auto V and other similar games, particularly when utilized at 1080p resolution.

Cost? Place?
Why choose Windows 10 Pro?
I wouldn't recommend a six-core processor without additional hyperthreading these days. It might be adequate for certain games, but more recent titles could necessitate those extra threads. The Ryzen 3600, in my opinion, offers a superior value for performance.

As it’s a ready-made system, we can't assemble it ourselves. Please find the webpage below; the cost is listed in Danish kroner (dkk).

In Indonesia, some retailers offer to assemble computers for customers as long as the buyer purchases all the necessary parts from their store. I believe similar businesses exist in Denmark, and this would likely be a superior approach. The computer described previously utilizes an inexpensive motherboard, sluggish memory modules, a substandard power supply unit, and a solid-state drive with insufficient capacity for current requirements.

If you hired someone to construct this system you discovered, would it be capable of running the games he enjoys – Grand Theft Auto V, Farming Simulator 19, and Euro Truck Simulator 2 – with satisfactory graphics on a 65-inch television?

I attempted to construct one independently. Would these components mesh together successfully? Currently, I lack a case, but would the remaining parts integrate properly, and could it effectively handle GTA V, Farming Simulator 19, and Euro Truck Simulator 2 at maximum settings on a 65-inch television? It’s important to note that the antivirus software BullGuard and AMD Xbox Game Pass are included as part of the processor’s package.

I am unable to upload an image, so here is a description:
ASRock B450M Pro4 – AMD B450 – AMD AM4 socket – DDR4 RAM – Micro-ATX
669DKK

Patriot Extreme Performance Viper 4 Blackout Series
652DKK

AMD Ryzen 7 2700X with Wraith Prism – Pinnacle Ridge CPU – 8 cores at 3.7 GHz – AMD AM4 – AMD Boxed (PIB - med køler)
1499DKK

Samsung 860 EVO 2.5” SSD – 500GB
699DKK

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER GAMING OC – 6GB GDDR6 RAM – Graphics Card
2225DKK

Corsair RM650x (2018) Power Supply – 650 Watt – 140 mm – 80 Plus Gold certified
849DKK

The total cost, including taxes, is approximately 6593 DKK. I also require a case and possibly some thermal paste.

I appreciate your gratitude, but I’m concerned that he won't be able to comfortably play games at 1080p. Currently, he’s utilizing a large 65-inch 4K television as his display, and he intends to play titles like Farming Simulator and Euro Truck Racing on it. He has a dedicated gaming setup with steering wheels, which makes me worried that he’ll struggle to achieve acceptable frame rates and visual quality in GTA on that screen, likely needing to reduce graphics settings significantly.
