Hello everyone,

Apologies for the extended update; this situation is a bit more unusual. I'm experiencing odd performance issues and stability/connectivity challenges with my new AM5 build running a Ryzen 7600 and an Asrock B650e PG Riptide Wi-Fi. With around 15 years of experience setting up PCs, I won't oversimplify the troubleshooting process.

Summary of problems: The system hard resets during gameplay. Initially, I suspect overclocking since it matches the specs, but after a restart, the Bluetooth device (AMD/Mediatek AM5 RZ608) vanishes from Windows—can't enable it or see it in Device Manager. However, Wi-Fi functionality remains intact. After reinstalling all Bluetooth drivers and running a Windows SFC scan, the device reappears after a few restarts.

Further investigation revealed my 3D application runs about 1-3% slower than expected, which I attributed to driver quirks. Running the 3D Mark PCIe feature test shows only ~6.5GB/s bandwidth for the RTX 3070 on the top PCIe 5 slot—comparable to PCIe 2.0 speeds. Testing with GPU-Z indicates the RTX 3070 caps at PCIe 4x4 in that slot, which is around 4x4 connectivity.

Given past issues with the top PCIe slot and Wi-Fi/BT chip, I'm considering whether the CPU or motherboard might be affected. It seems possible that the silicon or GPU/PSU could be struggling to communicate properly with PCIe devices. I have a loaner system available for full testing, so I plan to swap components and verify the issue.

I've ruled out overclocking as the cause, though it hasn't improved stability. The system has passed many stability checks under current settings. NVME drives appear functional, though they may not be at peak performance compared to benchmarks. My specs are:

- Ryzen 7600 PBO+200 (5.35GHz)
- CPU voltage ~1.4V / 1.265V
- Thermalright Peerless Assassin Dual 120 cooler
- 6400 CL30-37-37 DDR5 @1.38V
- Asrock B650e PG Riptide Wi-Fi
- Top PCIe 5 slot: WD Black SN850
- Full PCIe 4x4 NVRAM slot: RTX 3070
- Bottom PCIe 4x4 slot: MSI Spatium M470
- All other slots empty
- Motherboard: USB-C and internal headers filled

I don't believe the problem is with the NVMe interface; it's more about the RAM. Have you attempted to push it under heavy load for over an hour? The AM5 setup isn't particularly reliable at temperatures above 6000°C.

Thanks for your response and focus on Claire. Great update, I think the issue was mainly related to the physical setup of my GPU and power connections. It seems the problem stemmed from a loose or dirty connection, which resolved after cleaning and reinserting the components. The PCIe locking tab and screws were secure, and the card fit perfectly in the slot. I’d like to remind others to always double-check their installations, even if everything looks correct. Regarding the RAM speed, I’ve spent many hours testing stability with different programs. The system is performing well overall, and the numbers I’ve recorded are typical for the RAM kits I’m using. The Ryzen 7000 series with those memory modules should handle OC speeds up to 6400 MT/s, especially with good RAM. If anyone has experience or preferences on RAM/CPU testing, feel free to share. Notably, "Wo Long Fallen Dynasty" was the only game that crashed during testing, while all others ran smoothly even under heavy stress tests like 3D Mark and Unigine. I’m considering updating the post title to reflect this resolution. The current bandwidth is around 3070 Mbps, and stability issues appear to be resolved.
