Resolved: A comparison of 8-pin and 6-pin configurations.
Greetings. I recently acquired a GTX 1060, and my power supply provides approximately 450-550 watts. My PSU features two six-pin connectors, each with a twin connector forming an eight-pin configuration. I’ve currently connected one of the six pins, including its associated twin connector, to the eight-pin port on my GTX 1060. I’m considering using the supplied adapter – an eight-pin to two six-pin device – and plugging both six-pin connectors into the GTX 1060. Please advise whether utilizing the adapter would be preferable, and I’m happy to provide further explanation if needed.

No, that would not be better.
Ok so the one 8 pin would be better than 2 6 pins?
