I tried to replay Undertale once more, but after completing the genocide run, I followed a detailed guide. When I attempt one step, it seems to skip instead of showing it, and Steam Cloud is causing the issue. How can I resolve this?

Yes, there is a 'True Reset' option available within the game.

Once you complete the genocide ending the game, it essentially locks itself in place, making it impossible to continue playing. Please take action on the files.

Click the game with the right-click, remove the option to keep saves in Steam Cloud, and it should clear any leftover files.

I've tested it on all my devices, both Windows and Mac. I used the tutorials you linked: https://youtu.be/hMD62c0VOQc?si=o89OZNReh5nsEjUo
