You need to transfer the data from the friend's USB drive to another storage device, then format it as needed. After that, you can replace the USB with the new drive and proceed with installing the Windows ISO.

In Windows Explorer, simply right-click it and select Format. Pick FAT32 to ensure compatibility across Macs and PCs, or choose NTFS only for Windows devices.
