Hardware details: Ryzen 5 5600X (new), XFX SWFT309 RX6700XT (new), Gigabyte B450M S2H (new), Kingston Fury 3200MHz 2x8GB (new), Kingston 500GB SSD (boot) (about 3 months away), Kingston 500GB SSD (boot) (about 6 months), two Seagate HDDs (~3 years), 650W bronze rated PSU (just upgraded from 450W), Windows 11 Pro (x64) (upgraded from 2600 and 1650 in December). I’ve experienced this problem since around August/September 2023. The BIOS resets each time I power off the PC, but now it resets every boot attempt, regardless of whether it’s cold or not. On startup, the screen shows a beep, then peripherals light up but no logo appears. After a week, the motherboard logo appears and the system boots normally. In BIOS you’ll see a warning: “Bios has been reset – please reconfigure.” So far, nothing has resolved it. I’ve tried fixing RAM timing, swapping RAM, changing CMOS battery, updating BIOS, and even ran memory diagnostics. All tests came back normal. My guess is either a motherboard fault or memory incompatibility. If it’s the latter, time is short—only about a month of warranty remains. I’m not sure what else to do and don’t think I’m searching correctly. I posted this on Reddit once but got no replies. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Do you know if the clear CMOS pins are connected together? It might be good to verify that.

Have you verified the voltage of the battery in your BIOS? If it's below 3 volts, it may need to be replaced.

Remove the SSD and see if problems persist. Test only the core components, leave the rest unplugged, and recheck. Were similar issues seen with the previous PSU? Is the power strip and wall connection functioning correctly?

I'll verify the old SSD and make the update. Yea also faced problems with the old PSU. I've tried various power strips, haven't switched to a different outlet, so I'll do that too and update. Even though I've used the same wall socket for a long time before the issue started, I'll test it as well just to be sure.

I took out the SSD and restarted the PC, but nothing altered. I also switched to a different power outlet, yet there was no improvement.

Construct the setup beyond the enclosure, avoiding the front connector points, and recheck.
