Reset Intel XTU to its default settings and adjust power throttling.
I recently upgraded my PC with a new CPU, motherboard, and RAM. I began experiencing brief freezes followed by a return to normal operation, accompanied by an unusual reboot-like sound. I looked into the Intel XTU software, performed stress tests, and benchmarks. My power throttle indicator turned yellow, suggesting issues. The freezing tends to occur during loading screens or while watching YouTube videos, sometimes triggered by games like Rainbow Six Siege where audio cuts out briefly. I adjusted some settings and noticed the problems persist. My setup includes an Intel i7-9700K at 3.60GHz, 8 CPUs, a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with 4GB RAM, two 8GB sticks at 2666 MHz, and a PRIME B365M-A motherboard. I’m wondering if these components are prone to freezing during YouTube playback. Please help with resetting to the original settings and any tips for managing power throttling or freezing. Thanks for your time.
