Hello! A factory reset could potentially erase your Windows key, meaning you'd need to purchase a new one. But there are ways to test if it's safe before proceeding. Let me know if you'd like more details!

Factory reset or a new installation doesn't invalidate your key.

A factory reset might resolve some issues, but it could also remove necessary settings. Check if the problem persists after resetting.

Check if the keyboard is functioning properly or if a driver is needed. Have you unplugged it and tried a different port?

I used to believe my key came from GVGmall, but it actually originated from one of the fake Brazilian sites known as GVGmalls. At first I was concerned, but everything worked properly and my mom's card details remain safe. The Hotkey Keyboard class disappeared from my PC during use, so I can still log in and perform basic tasks with the on-screen keyboard, though not much more. I've tested various USB ports and different keyboards without success. In Device Manager it seems the "keyboard" section is missing now. I'm also unsure if I need to reinstall Windows.
