Fortunately this configuration isn't on my primary machine. I've experimented with various methods to set up Windows 10, but they all seem to fail after installation. I'm completely unsure what's causing the problem. This is my first experience with AMD Ryzen. I've built extensively with Intel (from 486 through 8th gen Core i3, i5, i7) without issues, and so far with AMD (AM3+, FM2+) and lower models, I haven't encountered this issue. I've attempted to install using an HDD with MBR and GPT settings, but both have failed. I wouldn't want the SSD to become the main drive. Any suggestions or advice would be invaluable. Parts are new unless noted. Specifications: ASUS B450M TUF PLUS AMD Ryzen 5 1500X (stock speed - not overclocked) (purchased used), Cooler Master 212 Evo G.SKILL F4-3000C16D-16GTZR Trident Z RGB Series 16GB 3000MHz (running at 2400MHz), EVGA 1060 6GB SSC (used), EVGA 650W GM power supply, Crucial P1 1TB 3D NAND NVMe (secondary drive for games), Toshiba 500GB 2.5" HDD (from a PS4 upgraded to 2TB)

Changed BIOS settings, used the rune media creation tool from Microsoft, saved it to a USB drive, and booted from there. You should now be able to format the drive and install a fresh copy. Confused about the process!

I only modified the BIOS settings—specifically the RAM speed to 2400Mhz and changed the hard drive boot mode. I’ll give it a shot and observe the results.

You have a legacy PS4 drive installed, which is why it boots quickly. The SSD has lost about 32GB of data, but it still loads faster than usual.

This might be the next phase. I'm still hesitant about SSD becoming the primary choice. I don't have concerns about how quickly the operating system loads.

Check if the USB 3 stick is the issue. Perhaps switch to a USB 2 stick instead.

A BIOS reset to defaults followed by a fresh Windows 10 Home installation caused the system to encounter a driver error. The file vstxraid.sys failed, displaying an error code of 0xc0000221. You may want to discard this issue and revert to using Intel hardware.
