His performance was 1.64v, which isn't very gentle since many people struggle to maintain 1.40v at 8700K. The factory-applied thermal paste underneath the lid appears to be poor quality.

Extremely sensitive to xoc yet very tolerant of ambient Hes; previous tests confirmed the reading is incorrect based on the temperatures recorded during cpuz stress. Run it at 1.6v and watch for overheating.
