I'm using Windows 10 with an i3 9100f and a GTX 1070 that has 16 gigabytes of RAM (two 8GB cards). I'm facing frequent crashes—whether it's during gameplay or at certain times. Temperatures stay between 50-60°C, drivers are all up to date, and I see crashes ranging from engine failures in Unreal 4 to desktops freezing or restarting completely. Anyone have any suggestions?
You're describing specific issues with your system. Could you clarify the nature of these crashes? Are they related to performance, freezing, audio output, or something else? How long have you been experiencing them? Have there been any recent changes or updates? Also, what type of storage devices are you using?
It seems each game experiences its own issues—some crash immediately, others freeze mid-session, and a few require restarting the system after a specific moment in the campaign. The final moments often bring a freezing of all systems with music, followed by a need to reboot. Hard drives hold the operating system, while games reside on an SSD; an external drive is present but not used for game files.
