I believe I'll test them individually—8K, then 4K, and finally 2K.

It's worth noting that these pieces do indicate it isn't functional. They suggest you'd require an immense amount of power to extract any meaningful results from it.

They were also at their maximum configurations and weaker cards. Running 980ti SLI at the absolute lowest settings in 8K resolution would only get you lucky chances of hitting console grade 30fps. Yet, why not give it a shot? You’d at least be able to capture some stunning screenshots that could serve as wallpaper.

The platform doesn<|pad|> to not support 8K resolution, making video verification difficult. Additionally, the content might have been altered easily.

Try it at 4k first. A 980ti should be fine. I just got a 4k monitor and started with Crysis 3—it ran at 45-60 fps. I turned on Freesync and it works great, which surprised me because most people here think you need more than 290x to play 4k. So far, only GTA V has had issues underwater in the sub while searching for the bomb (Trevor). Otherwise, it’s amazing.

Here are the findings: 8K delivers smooth performance with 4x MSAA, 16X anisotropic and no motion blur. You achieved up to 36 FPS using Fraps, while 4K reached around 73 FPS without V-sync. The second version didn’t get tested.

No, the difference becomes less noticeable when viewing from more than 30cm away.
