I've been searching for a BIOS update for my HP1497 motherboard. On HP's site they offer updates for Windows 8, but my setup uses Windows 10 and doesn't have that option. Could someone assist me? Also, I need to check my motherboard: it's a HP Compaq 6200 Pro MT.

it appears this way because i would install the BIOS there. still, the key reason for updating BIOS is that it works with 3rd generation Intel chips natively.

The goal of this update isn't to fix any GPU issues. My intention is to purchase a GTX 1650. I've noticed many users needing to upgrade their BIOS to support newer graphics cards, particularly those with older desktops like mine. Since my BIOS version is from 2011, it makes me a bit anxious about installing a more recent GPU. In short, the main aim of the BIOS update is to ensure the GPU (1650) functions properly.

It seems the latest BIOS update hasn't come out recently. I recommend checking your GPU first and testing it out before proceeding. It's better to avoid needing a BIOS update whenever possible.
