I'm working with an RT-AC86U using the ASUS MerlinWRT firmware and the FreshJR script. Despite having ample bandwidth (10Mb/s but capped at 6.7), Wi-Fi consistently gets higher priority than LAN connections, which frustrates me. My mom streams Netflix while her TV handles 4-5 Mb/s regardless of settings. The QoS rules are adaptive, prioritizing Gaming first, then VoIP, web browsing, file transfers, and finally video/audio streaming. This results in high ping values exceeding 300ms.
