Hi, I just purchased the ASUS ROG Strix B550-F gaming WiFi II motherboard. It doesn’t include a USB 3.1 type-C header for my Corsair 5000D airflow case. I’m wondering if it will still work without it or if I need an adapter to ensure everything functions properly.

You can connect USB3 to a USBC header adapter, or even a USB2 to USB C setup as I’m doing. It’s not required unless you need the Type C version. If you don’t need it, you won’t lose anything.
