Bought a fresh CPU, but the old motherboard isn’t compatible. I’m looking for a suitable board now—should be an i7 13700k. Need advice on what to get.

For gaming purposes only? The 7800X3D is ideal for DDR5 or DDR4 options. These Asus TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI D4 ATX LGA1700 boards (TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI D4) and the Gigabyte Z790 UD AC ATX LGA1700 (Z790 UD AC) from PCPartPicker are great choices.
