I've been checking out Star Citizen recently. I'm curious if my computer can handle it. It matches the minimum requirements listed on the RSI site, though I've heard those specs aren't super precise. Would my setup be suitable for a solid first-time experience at 720p with 30 frames per second? Your system details: Ryzen 3 2200G, 1050Ti, 4GB Samsung NVMe SSD, 16GB RAM. Thanks!

Let me know the type of system you're using, then I can help you figure it out!

You can really boost the graphics as much as you like, but the biggest issue with Star Citizen is CPU and RAM. Your current setup will likely feel slow in cities, but it should run smoothly once you’re exploring space and moons. Switching to 32GB of RAM will greatly improve performance even without a noticeable FPS increase. I saw a similar jump in performance when moving from 16GB to 32GB versus going from 960GB to 3060GB.

It won't perform well with your current setup. You definitely need more memory. My system is a 1080ti with 32gbs, and the game runs smoothly at 45fps in city mode at 1080p medium. This was two years ago when I played. I guess the game hasn't improved much in optimization since then.

Your machine is solidly in the "It can launch the game but not run it smoothly." With a basic CPU, limited RAM, and a modest graphics card, you might manage simple settings to try games like Star Citizen, but real play would be challenging and likely disappointing.
