Hey, I checked the requirements for Far Cry 4 and your setup looks doable. With an FX 6100, Radeon 6870, and 1GB GDDR5 RAM, you should be able to run it smoothly without major issues. Just make sure your system meets the game’s minimum specs. You’re good to go!

CPU seems sufficient for medium settings, but GPU could be an issue. Just 1GB of VRAM might cause problems.

The GPU might restrict performance, but the CPU plays a bigger role. Notice how I tested Far Cry 4 on my older PC with a 2.5 GHz dual-core processor—it struggled even at low settings. Switching to a newer build with a 4690K and a different CPU improved stability, maintaining around 60 FPS even at medium-high settings. It really comes down to your CPU, especially since I’ve used laptops with their chips before. Consider doing some research.

Sure, let's try that.

Maybe at a resolution of 1024x768.

You'll need something that adds a bit more intensity for high settings, though medium options work well at 1080p without filters. It seems pretty solid.

I notice users testing 6870 at FHD on high settings using just 2GB of RAM, while others report significant lag. I aim to stay accurate without adding extra details. There might be issues when aiming for higher performance.

You're above the required level, so it should likely function. You'll need to adjust many settings afterward.

The GPU features just 1 GB of VRAM capacity.
