You need a fully functional PC setup with Linux installed alongside your Windows system. Ensure all hardware supports virtualization, install necessary drivers, and verify compatibility between OS layers.

Need it to function properly? A small gig or a bit of extra free memory and disk space would help. A decent setup should include a modern quad-core processor, at least 4 GB RAM, and around 60 GB of SSD storage. Running games inside the VM requires specialized hardware and software, which is beyond your current scope.

What kind of CPU suits you best? The Pentium G4560 could work, but a quad-core processor is generally the standard for modern tasks.

As @manikyath mentioned, a decent performance requires at least a modern quad-core processor.

GOD NO! To run a virtual machine requires a minimum of a quad-core i5 or better. A recent AMD Ryzen works too.

It's not entirely accurate, though it can work on a dual-core system. The performance will be quite poor, unless it's running with a very minimal amount of software.

You're asking for a simpler explanation of what "small Linux" means to you. It likely refers to lightweight or minimal versions of Linux, designed to run efficiently on less powerful devices.
