I'm working with a Tenda AC10 as my primary router (without the USB). You can explore the web interface simulator to see possible configurations. It's located at my local IP 192.168.0.1, and it uses DHCP. The device is situated on the first floor. My PC connects via a gigabit LAN. I share the same SSID, password, and security settings for both 2.4 and 5GHz networks. A Guest Network is set up with the SSID "Dighe Guest" for both guest connections, using identical encryption and security protocols. It assigns IP addresses in the 192.168.10.x range to guest users. I also have a Huawei router (HG8145V) acting as a slave, integrated ONU. That feature isn't currently enabled because its range is moderate, so I placed it on the ground floor where bandwidth needs are lower. Internet speeds reach up to 400Mbps according to tests, with a maximum link speed around 560Mbps. It's connected at 192.168.0.4. Two other routers (192.168.0.2 and 192.168.0.3) serve as switches for some limited wired connections. (This info is mostly background—preferring not to use Chinese gear, though my sister used one before the pandemic.) I've verified with Cisco OpenDNS that it doesn't appear to compromise data security, and it accesses cloud.tenda.com.cn and api.cloud.tenda.com.cn, which are blocked via Open DNS. It supports the same SSID, password, and encryption for roaming, plus multiple SSID options. DHCP is disabled on both routers; the secondary DHCP server is also off. The main router connects to the Huawei via a Gigabit LAN. Currently, it's functioning as a normal LAN port. Now I aim to set up a Guest Network on the Huawei router, but that requires VLAN support. It does allow VLANs through IPTV, letting me add additional ones. The main router has fewer adjustable settings compared to the Huawei. I've attached screenshots of the options in the Huawei device. It wasn't easy to find a straightforward method. There are other configurations on the Huawei, such as the Secondary LAN IP address. I'm unsure about an option named DHCP Server Option configuration. Thanks for your help.
