Your dual channel DDR3 8GB RAM setup at 1600Mhz should handle modern games like BF1 and Call of Duty: Warzone, but ensure your CPU and GPU match the requirements for optimal performance.

Certainly. Just playing games means 8Gb is typically sufficient.
I perform BF1 around 60fps using a mix of high and ultra settings. My setup includes a Ryzen 5 1600, 2x4GB DDR4 RAM, and an 1050Ti GPU.
Almost certain, when playing only casual games, you won't need all that 8Gb. The most intense titles I've tried usually require around 6Gb. Having 8GB is quite sufficient.
Games depend on the amount of RAM you have. More RAM allows them to use more efficiently. With limited RAM, they focus on essential tasks and run lighter. An 8GB memory works well for basic gaming, but if your system is cluttered—like running many background apps or tabs—it might feel restrictive in certain titles. Still, the game will adjust to whatever RAM it has, so you might not even notice the difference in performance.
I've only required over 8GB of RAM in the past when running Arma 3 at a very wide viewing range. Even then, the demand stayed near 9GB.
