It doesn't make sense to try to run MacOS on VMware or VirtualBox. I personally used this approach before with a 32GB RAM, Ryzen 7 1700X, and RX 580 PC. The virtual machine wasn't very good—even after adding 1GB of VRAM, 18GB RAM, and 5 CPU cores, it still felt slow. Even with more resources, it didn’t perform well. I own this laptop for $85, bought it without any drive, then spent $50 on a 250GB SSD and $5 on a compatible MacOS module. The speed was about that of a mid-2013 MacBook Air, and all ports worked fine. The only issue was the battery status, which could be improved with third-party tools like the free app mentioned.
