Hey everyone, I'm trying to locate a router that supports DHCP configuration for over 255 IP addresses within the range you mentioned (172.25.0.0 to 172.25.1.0). I need it to handle around 500 IPs across our company. I previously used a TP-Link Archer C7, but they're no longer in production. The spec sheets aren't sufficient, and the new routers I've seen only support up to 254 IPs in that DHCP range. Can anyone help me find a suitable replacement? Thanks!
Budget isn't the main concern. I'm managing seven Omada APs in the company; the C7 handles it fully, but it's using 100% CPU. I need to switch to something better...
Also considering switching to Mikrotik... those tiny routers are amazing...
If your budget isn’t an issue, the CCR2004-16G-2S+PC seems like a top choice, though it could be excessive for your setup. If cost matters and you’re not planning advanced tasks, the L009UiGS-RM might fit better. In reality, it will likely exceed expectations. I strongly suggest opting for MikroTik. The learning curve is challenging, but plenty of tutorials exist, and performing what you want is straightforward.
