Hello everyone, I'm planning a clean Windows installation and need to verify I have the right drivers. My build is set up as default. Chipset Drivers: I'll download them from Gigabyte's site. GPU: Installing GeForce Experience from nVidia's website. Monitor: Securing the monitor driver so Windows doesn't label it as generic. Audio: Including Logitech's gaming software. Mouse: Also with Logitech's software. Keyboard: Corsair's program is included. Network: I recall Windows already had a network driver and it worked fine. Does this sound correct? I'm hoping for a specific answer tailored to my setup, not just general advice. Thanks ahead!

Click the link in my signature. Regarding "Windows found the driver and it seems to work," just because it operates doesn't guarantee it functions properly. Always install every device driver connected to your computer.

Monitors operate independently of drivers. Certain models may include software for color and display tweaks. Windows should recognize the GPU driver name once it's installed. Audio functionality is required unless an external sound card is used. Obtain a device from the Gigabytes website. The same applies to LAN connections. Additional options include USB3 and SATA ports, along with drivers for any other USB peripherals such as printers or webcams.

It seems you're on the right track. The GPU driver should be removed from Windows display settings, which is a helpful feature. For drivers, you can usually find them on the manufacturer's official site—nVidia for GPUs, Gigabyte for peripherals. Good luck with your setup!

Sure, you can remove the VGA driver. This applies to iGPU.
