I'm searching for a Ryzen 3 3200G setup using a B450 AUUS motherboard. The part selection site mentions compatibility problems and suggests a BIOS update. According to Gigabyte's information, the B450 AUUS supports first, second, and third generation Ryzen CPUs. You should check if your board requires any BIOS changes before purchasing an alternative chipset.

The motherboard might lack the appropriate BIOS, since certain B450M boards need a newer BIOS to support 3rd Gen Ryzen. If it doesn’t have the right BIOS, you can reach out to AMD for an upgrade kit. They’ll provide you with a POS Athlon to install and then return it once updated. Determining if you receive a revised board is uncertain—you could get one or not.

It's feasible that the motherboard isn't needing a specific BIOS update for a third-generation Ryzen. To guarantee full compatibility, MSI offers BIOS revisions that work with 3rd-gen Ryzen processors.
