Yesterday I connected my PC to the router using an Ethernet cable. The issue I’m facing is that the PC wakes up before the monitor turns off when I put it to sleep. I suspect the problem comes from the Ethernet connection, since the PC stayed asleep after I unplugged it. In Device Manager I disabled the "allow this device to wake you PC option," and now the computer stays off unless I shut it down. The problem only occurs when the cable is plugged in during sleep. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Verify the presence of "Wake on LAN" or a similar setting in your BIOS configuration. If active, turn it off to prevent unintended device activation.
