These boards likely include LED diagnostics. Checking the manual and watching the board during startup can be useful. Example: https://manualsdump.com/en/manuals/intel...110436/108 Also, think about your intended use—could a Linux distribution work better?

Thank you for the link. I'll examine that option. Regarding the Linux choice, I'm unfamiliar with it and would require time to study it, which isn't available at the moment. I already use Windows and have two PCs plus two NAS units in my home network. I aim to merge them into a single JBOD server for easier remote management. Currently, I rely on two client machines, and daily logins can interfere with the HTPC while it's active. I just need a straightforward, non-client storage device that I can modify quietly. No RAID or redundancy requirements—just a reliable backup solution.

Finally managed to examine the problem (sorry for the previous delay) and discovered the diagnostic LEDs. They seem to show an OFF OFF RED GREEN status, matching the manual entry 0x21h – initializing a chipset component. I searched online for an explanation but found nothing useful. Reconnected the monitor through VGA again, yet no video signal appeared from the built-in graphics. I uninstalled and reinstalled the RAM just to rule out any loose connections, but the issue persisted. I’m hoping someone with experience on this type of server board can help identify the cause.
