Requesting assistance with system freezing and BSOD issues (version 2)
I am deeply ashamed that I didn't include that.... I know of two different stop codes; see the pictures I added in the post. DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE DRIVER_VERIFIER_IOMANAGER_VIOLATION Interestingly, when uploading the screenshots here, I can read more on them than on Discord... I never saw that IOMap64.sys. I will ask him tomorrow if he has that ASUS software installed and will ask him to uninstall it. It's 2 am here, so it will take some time. (Why tf is the picture not as pixelated when i copy it in here???) I will ask him tomorow thank you both for you time and input
The screenshot of the BSOD comes from ASUS' diagnostic tool. The driver restarts as "ASUS PC Probe," likely due to an I/O issue, and works with many ASUS utilities. Remove all ASUS software before proceeding. Request dump files related to Driver_Power_State_Failure crashes. Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump and verify the presence of any minidump files. Return to the Windows directory and transfer the entire Minidump folder to your Downloads folder (use your desktop if needed). Compress the copied folder and include it in a post. Follow instructions carefully—Windows doesn't allow file changes there.
We removed all ASUS software including the motherboard and framework services. The Last Driver_Power_State_Failure occurred this Wednesday, with the dump file: 120424-12140-01. We also uploaded the latest available dumps here: https://ufile.io/jaa9khm2 (also in OG Post). Regarding the broken images, it appears to function correctly on my devices, and I’ve sought assistance from friends. Could this be an issue on your side? If not, let me know how I can assist further. Thank you for your time and support—it means a lot since everything beyond basic help is challenging. Have a nice second Advent!
Apologies, I probably overlooked the dump files initially. The ID for the device with the driver problem is returning as VID_1B1C, which is Corsair's vendor code. The PID_0C1C isn't showing up in the USB ID database, but since the USB version is more reliable than the PCIe one, this is typical. A quick search suggests it might be the Corsair Commander (Core/Pro) or iCUE controller. If you use RGB software, it tends to cause crashes—note that iCUE isn't mentioned here, just disliked. There aren't any driver download links on the support page, so for reinstalling, I recommend using Device Manager, right-clicking, uninstalling, and restarting to let Windows fetch drivers automatically. It could also be a faulty device, possibly why other crashes occurred with ASUS PC Probe when it tried to read data from the Commander and crashed due to bad input.
