Hello, I’m preparing to purchase this PC this month and would appreciate your advice. Will these parts fit well together? Are there any upgrades I could consider for better performance? I aim for long-term reliability. I want to achieve over 120 FPS on high/ultra settings for 2K gaming, and I’m okay adjusting some settings slightly. Regarding the SSDs, I’m unsure if they include DRAM—though I think they do. Also, how effective is the cooler in keeping the CPU cool? Your guidance would be very helpful. Thank you in advance.
Is this a ready-made unit or are you purchasing components to assemble it yourself? What is your budget looking like? Because for a few extra dollars you could obtain a 7900x or even a 9900x. The top options right now are the X3Ds, though they tend to be difficult to find at MSRP. Also, why would you choose gen 3 NVMe? Your board supports gen 4, so you should opt for that (if you want the Samsung 980 Pro). And I also don’t understand the two 500 GB drives. You should get a 500 GB (or 1TB) for the system and a 2 TB (or a 4 TB) for your games.
You should also select CL30 RAM instead of CL36.
I would skip this cooler. If you really prefer air cooling, Noctua is a reliable option. Or consider a liquid cooler from brands like Corsair, Asus, or NZXT.
As far as I know, Thermaltake cases generally don’t provide excellent airflow. In general, reviewers dislike them, but users say they’re acceptable. Personally, I used one a few years ago and my temperatures were terrible. Maybe they’ve improved now, I don’t know. I currently use a Corsair Crystal 570x and it performs very well (although the cable management could be better, the airflow is great).
Certainly not intended to function, since the name Eagle was miswritten. Just a joke, really.
First, it’s clear you don’t wish for that PSU. As most evaluations have noted, it’s a solid platform compromised by an awful cooling performance and setup. Skip this model.

Hello, thank you for your message. Your budget falls between 2000 and 2500 Euros. This unit is a prebuilt with some modifications. Unfortunately, the price gap for the next improved CPU is quite steep, so I’ll stick with this option. I plan to upgrade later.
Apologies for any confusion—I meant to indicate having two SSDs, but now it seems unclear. I considered purchasing one 1TB and one 500GB, keeping the OS on the 500GB and games on the larger one. I wasn’t familiar with Gen 3 technology, so I checked and found the KINGSTON FURY Renegade 1TB SSD with Heatsink, M.2 2280, PCIe 4.0 NVMe, with read/write speeds of 7300/6000MB/s and IOPS of 900K/1000K.
Is this a Gen 4 model and does it include DRAM? If so, I’d prefer two units of this type.
Regarding the RAM, this appears to be the top option available. Is there a significant difference between CL30 and CL36 models? For the cooler, I’ll need more details but will confirm later. Should I consider the THERMALRIGHT Peerless Assassin 120? And for the case, is the LC-Power Case Gaming 803B suitable for my needs?
