This summer, Windows 7 activation keys should be compatible with the corresponding Windows 10 version. According to my knowledge, all Windows 7 keys are designed to work in the Windows 10 equivalent, meaning a Win7 Pro or higher will activate a Win10 Pro install.

During the Windows 10 setup, input your Windows 7 activation key. You won’t be able to perform the free upgrade option, but you can install Windows 10 fresh and apply your Win 7 key.
