I completed the upgrade to the Montech XR and connected the fans, but they’re not set up with any ARGB settings since I don’t have a header on my ASUS Prime A350 M-K. I’m curious if, because they’re already daisy chained, I can connect them directly to a budget ARGB fan controller. I also have a Thermalright Assassin King 120 SE in ARGB—should I connect those separately or link them together?

Verify if the fans require 12V RGB or 5V RGB. Thermalright supports 5V. Otherwise, three fans work well under standard headers. If not, opt for a PTOPER multi-RGB port controller.

You can connect the controller to another device or use a different interface if the board lacks an aRGB header.
