Porting Minecraft on ASUS RT-AC5300 failed under these conditions. The problem also occurred when attempting to port forward ports 80 or others. It began after switching ISPs and the modem changed. I checked for IPv6 settings, double NAT, DHCP, internal IP assignment, router firewall, DMZ setup, and firewall rules. Still unsure how to resolve it—it worked before the ISP change.

Verify if it's a modem or a gateway. If it's a gateway, it functions as both a modem and a router in one unit. This might be the problem.

Your "Router" or "Modem" likely includes a firewall built-in, which may require specific ports to be forwarded.

I think it's just a modem, but I'm using my own personal router that was set up earlier

Check the modem's documentation or label for the model number.

No visible model information on the device; you can check the photos for clues.

The device includes a built-in switch and acts as a single solution. It features a firewall that is preventing those ports.

You can turn off the firewall by following your system's specific instructions or consulting the relevant documentation.

Occasionally I wonder if they can't be turned off, do you remember the IP address?

You might assist in resolving your problem by connecting your laptop to the modem and attempting to access the panel to turn off the firewall.
