- Power supply: Corsair AX1600i
A key discussion point is that GPT4 mentions DDR4, suggesting it lacks access to DDR5, even though it’s available for purchase. I'm not sure if I opened the topic correctly. Would it be better to start a new one? I'm wondering if using AI was a mistake. I'm facing a big decision about which processor to pick. Both configurations are feasible and not the most suboptimal, though there is considerable misinformation based on what you mentioned the LLM claims to be accurate. Here’s an optimized gaming PC build as an illustration. What is your budget and where do you plan to buy?
I intend to buy from Brazil or Paraguay. Although funds aren't a limit, I aim to avoid wasteful spending. I'm not in a position to spend excessively, but I can earn and save up for the parts. As far as I know, you're agreeing to choose the 14th generation, which already includes some enhancements. Thank you for the recommendation.
In my view, the 13 and 14th generations are the sole choices from Intel unless you secure an exceptional offer on a 12700k/f or 12900k/f model. The 13th and 14th generation CPUs are fairly similar with only slight enhancements. If a 13th generation CPU can match the performance of a 14th generation one at a lower price, opt for the former. It’s also challenging to determine component costs in your area, at least for me. Unless I find a reliable source with good deals, it may be difficult to assist with specific part selections without clear pricing information.
