Request for assistance with a new build.
Hello everyone, I'm planning to assemble an AMD 3950x system. I was considering 32-64 gigabytes of Trident Neo 3600 RAM. Perhaps that would work? I'd like to use the Lian Li O11D XL-X ATX Full Tower case. My current setup has a 2070 GPU from another PC. I plan to use it for gaming, streaming, and rendering as well as recording when needed. My budget is around $2800 USD. I've heard this place offers great advice and preparation, especially since there will be some discussion. I have two weeks until payday and can order parts myself. Can anyone here help me put together a build to maximize value for my money?
do you need to run rendering, streaming, and gaming together? then 32gb of RAM would work well. if you're mainly doing rendering and streaming, or gaming and streaming, 16gb should suffice. i have a 16gb DDR4 system and can stream an AAA game while using chrome with 5-6 tabs and obs (streamlabs) open, without exceeding about 50-70% usage.
You're experiencing memory issues with Tarkov after upgrading to 16GB RAM. The problem might be related to your system's configuration or resource limits. To resolve this, consider optimizing your settings or trying a different build. If you need further help, share more details about your hardware and OS version.
PCPartPicker list includes various components at different prices. The AMD Ryzen 9 3950X processor costs $749 on Amazon, paired with the Corsair H115i liquid cooler for $136.99. The Asus ROG Strix X570-E motherboard is available for $279.99, and G.Skill Trident Z Neo memory offers 32GB at $169.99. A 2TB NVMe drive is recommended, though a smaller option with a hard drive could work if needed. The Straight Power 11 650W power supply is priced at $119.90. Storage choices range from 2TB NVMe to smaller drives with mechanical options. Overall, the build totals around $1854.86, with prices covering shipping and taxes. Some components like the AIO cooler provide better space efficiency, while others allow budget adjustments.
This setup looks solid for a single PC build. Streaming and gaming will run smoothly with the components listed. Just make sure your power supply can handle the total wattage, especially with the cooler and GPU in use. Keep an eye on temperatures during intense sessions to avoid overheating. Everything seems compatible based on the specs provided.
Someone said I require the Crosshair VIII Wi-Fi for this project, is that accurate?
