Recently I played FS22 and the computer stopped working. After restarting, it froze again. I tried a reset and continued troubleshooting, but it still doesn’t boot. After another reboot, it won’t start and keeps showing the motherboard screen. Sometimes it says “preparing automatic repair” then goes black, other times it stays stuck on the screen forever. There are no other red lights except the back ones. I checked RAM and slots, replaced the CMOS battery, verified boot order, and even tried enabling secure boot. The issue persists. I’m unsure what to do next—it’s an older build that worked perfectly until now, just updated to Windows 11 a month ago. Tomahawk 450 Max Ryzen 5 3600 2 Vengeance 2400 Radeon 5500 XT
The back lights are RGB. Did you forget to install them until now? You might want to try reseating the CPU.
I’ll attempt to reposition it now, even though it hasn’t been removed for a while since I installed it about three years ago. I’m open to trying anything. The back light isn’t certain if it’s always been red—I can’t see it clearly with the case closed. However, when it first powers on, it appears white for a brief moment before changing to red. I suspect it’s using RGB colors.
It was fine before, even with a Ryzen chip. Then it stopped working. I tried everything and someone recommended a CPU reheat. After doing that, it worked again.
I changed it again and reused the thermal paste. Still the same problem.
I'm performing an M-flash right now to check if it resolves the issue. I also update my PC automatically every Wednesday, but I manually look for updates every 4 to 6 weeks.
I've tested various RAM in different slots. I even removed the RAM from my wife's PC and tried it again. Still nothing changed.
