I'm using an i5 2500 with a limited budget. Since the latest PUBG patch 2.0 no longer lets me play smoothly at 60fps, I'm considering upgrading to a K version (2500k). Also, I'm using a Gigabyte B75 motherboard. If I upgrade the 2500k with this board, what percentage improvement would it bring? Is that worth the cost? Thanks for your help!

Which GPU? Switching from a 2500 to a 2500k with a fixed motherboard isn't worthwhile; I'd only see a small performance boost if it depends on your specific GPU. Moving to an i7 2700, 2700k, 3770, or 3770k could make sense again, depending on your GPU and what you can find for the price.

Yeah. From what I know, PUBG is quite demanding on the CPU, so an i7 2700 or 3770 should help a lot. If you share your CPU and GPU usage while playing, I can give you a better idea.

In the middle game, the CPU is near 98% and the GPU is about 70%.
