I created a similar topic earlier but now there are new challenges since installing the Creator's Update. Please remove any that need removal if a mod requests it. Since upgrading Windows, I've encountered these problems: 1) My OS drive now has two partitions totaling about 2 GB—how do I eliminate them? 2) Running HWinfo summary or sensors triggers a BSOD with the error code "MAJOR_PROCESS_DIED," usually during the S.M.A.R.T #3 sensor loading stage. 3) I can't delete the 25 GB Windows.Old folder; it says I need permission from SYSTEM—why? That's all. Thanks, I hope I resolve a couple of these issues.

No, consider upgrading instead. Since you already had a Win10 Anniversary Update USB last week, you can install Windows 10 with CSM turned off and full UEFI mode without starting from scratch.

Are all your drivers current? I can also look for a BIOS update. Have you modified any hardware components?

Have you explored combining HWinfo with the Creator's Update? It seems to function well.

I don't believe I've attempted it yet, but I'll install it on my bootcamp PC and get back to you soon.

Thank you for your message. I've checked versions 5.51 and 5.50, but they didn't work for you.

Installed version is 5.50, and everything appears to be working. I plan to test it on my real machine once I'm back home.

It seems the issue isn't with those tools. Try a different method or check your system settings.
