I have a 5600X and checking HWinfo shows PRD issues idle and under load. Is this really a major concern or just a minor hiccup? I'm not very technical, and after reading forum discussions and YouTube videos, I'm unsure if they're dealing with something serious. I don't notice big performance drops while gaming except maybe slight lag, but it might just be a minor issue. My motherboard is the Gigabyte B550 Aorus AC, and I have the newest BIOS.

The HWInfo PRD report seems inaccurate or confusing. My estimates stay between 0 and 800%, and everything appears normal after a few years.

It's not incorrect, but people often don't grasp it. This metric only matters when every core is operating at full capacity. It gives misleading data when loads aren't at 100%, which is typical. What's the problem? I don’t see any issues with this function based on what I know. The fact that you mentioned idle suggests you missed the details. I’m also confused because there are videos suggesting fixes for this issue, but power reporting deviation seems unlikely to cause it.
