Hey everyone. I switched from a 2700x to a 3900x on a ROG Strix X470-F Gaming board. Everything worked fine, but I’m facing some odd RAM latency issues. HWinfo64 displays the data below. I understand the clock speed is set at 1700 MHz, yet the timings remain unchanged. There’s also a photo of my R15 results, which seem normal. The chip runs reliably at 4.3 GHz with 1.35V. Just trying to clarify what’s affecting the timing settings. Thanks! Edit: It might be worth mentioning that the standard timings for these boards are 16-18-18-38 and they’re listed on the QVL for my model.

Adjust settings directly in the BIOS is common. X570 chipsets often have tricky BIOS configurations, making it tricky to get them working smoothly on X470 boards running Ryzen 3K.
