Hello, I'm experiencing problems with my PC. While playing a game, the frame rate fluctuates randomly (from 60 fps to 55), without any specific cause like complex screen activity. This issue occurs on both 1080p and 1440p resolutions.

I've updated my Nvidia drivers, performed a clean Windows 10 installation, disconnected the TV, tested with just the monitor's VSync enabled or disabled, and set an FPS limit. The FPS is stable now, and temperatures are normal. No viruses detected. I would really appreciate any assistance from helpful users. Thank you in advance.

Have you attempted to adjust your settings in the Nvidia Control Panel? I understand this could seem simple, but it might be a helpful first step given the FPS drops. Additionally, verify whether networking issues or packet losses are contributing to the same problem. Also, consider optimizing your games within the GeForce Experience. This discussion could be useful: https://forums.

Hey, thank you for your response! Yes I also tried the Nvidia control panel options and Geforce experience, but sadly no changes.
Very interesting about the networking problems/packet drops. I'm not too familiar with that how can I measure that if that is the problem? And could that be the problem with my singleplayer games? I did see some spikes in the taskmanager in the section ethernet but I'm not too sure about that, because I didn't focus on it last time I checked (and if I need to check it there).

However, given what you've said, it seems you mainly enjoy solo gaming; the networking issue probably isn't crucial for your FPS performance!

Yeah, I also don't think that's the issue. Do you have another idea about what might be causing it? I really don't know how to proceed.

It's tough to say, but I'm struggling to find another solution that could help. You might want to look into possible software errors or bugs in your system. Alternatively, you could check the various threads posted on this site's forums. One of them is: https://forums. I apologize for the same, and I understand your frustration; I've faced similar issues before. 😊 Hope your problem gets resolved soon

Thank you for your assistance. I also hope to resolve the issue. Could you please check my two short clips of the FPS drop? I have MSi afterburner overlay on, perhaps you can identify any problems and thank me if you don’t find anything.

Before I achieved a consistent frame rate, there were no significant fluctuations. Now, I experience these inconsistencies unexpectedly. For instance, when I set the FPS cap to 30, it drops to 22 and 120 to 80, respectively.
