I own a ROG Zephyrus G14 GA401IV-BR9N6. Steam confirms I meet the basic needs for Black Myth Wukong, but the free demo’s FPS fluctuates wildly—dropping from 60 to 40 to 50 to 20 and back again. This is just one case; sometimes the machine struggles to run PS2 games smoothly without appearing to crash. When I tested my setup using Time Spy on an Nvidia 2060, I got a score of 1928, which I consider quite poor. Did the Asus not activate any hidden settings that could improve this? I’ve tried several solutions so far, but they only marginally boosted performance.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! Demo versions of a game should be considered incomplete, allowing for some issues. Does this problem occur with other titles? If not, you can focus on the demo specifically. I don't see any reference to DDU. Use DDU in Safe Mode, disable all GPU drivers (Intel, AMD, Nvidia), then reinstall manually using the latest driver from Nvidia's support site. Open the installer, right-click and select Run as Administrator.

These performance problems occur consistently across all games, not just during the demo. I also attempted to restart by reinstalling my GPU and display drivers, but that didn't resolve the issue.
