Replaced the GPU, but Windows won't start; system still boots into BIOS.
I’ve added a new GPU to the motherboard but it doesn’t boot Windows; only typing F2 gets me into BIOS. Before this, I removed the old drivers with DDU. I’m switching from a Nvidia GTX 980 to an AMD RX 9060 XT 16GB. The board is an Asrock Z370 Gaming ITX. When I power on the computer with the new GPU, it stays black. Checking the BIOS shows it boots correctly, but what should I do? I tried reinserting the GPU and verified the power cables, but nothing worked. I installed the old GPU first—it worked fine. Could my PSU be insufficient? I’m running an Intel Core i5 8600K with an EVGA Supernova Gold 550W PSU. Need advice!
Try launching from a Windows 11 USB. If you see a video, the problem lies with the OS setup on your main drive.
I plan to test it tomorrow. Right now I don’t have a USB drive and will purchase one later today.
