I recommend USB 3 speeds for better performance. Your audio interface likely benefits from this upgrade, especially given its multiple outputs and inputs. The current USB repeater might not handle the load efficiently.

The audio interface is operating at 480MHz on USB 2.0. If you connect a device supporting 3.0, it will utilize that speed and avoid adding extra load to the 2.0 side of the hub. In USB, older standards operate using the original two pins, while 3.0 and newer rely solely on the five new high-speed pins. Thus, a 3.0 hub effectively combines two hubs—one for 2.0 and another for 3.0. However, any communication issues with either will cause overall failure. If the 3.0 hub is completely disconnected, it will revert to 2.0 mode automatically. Also, remember that copper twisted pair cables require a minimum bend radius; though HDMI works fine, USB should function as well. Specific details can be hard to confirm.

I could consider USB 2 repeaters. I'm sure it'll be sufficient.

I purchased this item and it functions flawlessly. Highly recommended, though the cost is fairly high (around 60€). I went with fiber since EM interference isn't a concern for light. This model even includes a USB A to USB micro B connection that fits into both ends and then into the hub or another PC port—likely for power purposes. They mention it's optional, but I prefer keeping it plugged in.
